Hello! I’m Emily Giddens, a professional makeup artist and licensed esthetician with over 13 years of experience in bridal, production, and special event artistry. My love for makeup began at a young age — I was always sneaking into my mother’s makeup bag, experimenting with whatever I could find. What started as simple curiosity grew into a passion for helping people feel beautiful, confident, and seen.
I began my professional journey with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, where I fell in love with artistry on a deeper level. Through that experience, I met working makeup artists who would stop in to replenish their kits, and one day I was invited to assist at a wedding. I still remember how nervous and excited I was — and how quickly I realized this was the work I was meant to do. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to pursue makeup as a career, and Emily G Artistry was born.
A few years later, I booked my first production job, which opened an entirely new side of artistry for me. Since then, most of the production work I’ve been hired for has come through referrals from members of that very first crew. It has been incredibly rewarding to grow alongside other professionals in the industry and to see how those early connections continue to shape my career.
Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, and American Eagle — opportunities that still make me pinch myself at how far this journey has carried me. Alongside freelancing, I built a career with Estée Lauder Companies, where I advanced into leadership and eventually became a Regional Market Specialist. In that role, I worked with world-renowned brands including Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown (which felt like a wonderful full circle moment), Tom Ford, Jo Malone London, MAC, Bumble and bumble, Origins, and Clinique.
Today, I’m grateful to serve a wide range of clients — from weddings, to production companies, to special events and milestone celebrations. No matter the occasion, my goal is the same: to create timeless, polished looks that represent clients at their very best. What began as childhood fascination has grown into a career I truly cherish. For me, makeup is more than artistry — it’s about connection, confidence, and being part of life’s most meaningful moments.
Warmly,
Emily Giddens

Makeup is about connection — here are a few pieces of my journey and what continues to inspire me.
I believe makeup is about connection — here are a few pieces of my journey and what continues to inspire me.
One day I’d love to do makeup for a wedding in Italy or a production job in Japan.
One of my biggest dreams is to work as an assistant makeup artist for a show or movie — I love the energy of being on set and the collaboration that happens with a creative team.
When I’m not on the job, you’ll often find me working out, traveling, or exploring new experiences. I love connecting with others and finding inspiration in fresh perspectives that fuel both my artistry and my life.
Makeup isn’t just about the finished look — it’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves in their most meaningful moments.
I’m also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. While it’s a separate career, both artistry and hypnotherapy share the same heart — helping people feel more confident, comfortable, and connected to themselves.
